Make sure you count the cheese as American processed, at 2 carbs per slice.

I really didn't get any of the chesse because it was all melted to the bun. But from now on if the chesse is that much I will just say no chesse!

I usually get 2 plain double cheeseburgers. It sounds like a lot but it's reallly not. I didn't realize the cheese had 2 grams of carbs. It doesn't seem to affect me much though and I don't think i could stomach a slab of plain meat. I don't get their salads because there's usually too much stuff in it that stalls me and it's too expensive.

Yeah the double cheeseburgers (without bun ofcourse) are great it takes me 2 for me to be full and like what jessica129 said about the salads is true and also the cost too much

From McDonalds? I get directions to the nearest Wendy's or Burger King heh.

I have read somewhere that McDonalds beef contains a good bit of soy, which can raise carb counts, haven't had it confirmed yet though.

Tip of the day: Ask for the cheese on the side when ordering fast food cheeseburgers.

If you are going drive-thru, they will either wrap the cheese in paper or put it in a little box. (you will also find that McD's cheese slices are much smaller than the usual "american cheese food" slice you get from the package!

On the dollar menu they have side salads. I love those! I have one of those and a double cheeseburger (of the dollar menu) and I order it without ketchup and without a bun (they give you lettuce that way). Wouldnt eat there if my office wasnt next door to one and that is the only fast food place in town....

According to their Canadian website, the cheese on the regular cheeseburger has 1 gram per slice. However, on the American website, it has 2. I guess they use a different cheese here in Canada.

I always order my double cheeseburger no ketchup no bun. Sometimes they even get it right :joy I usually get the dollar side salad, give the tomatoes to my kids (because if it weren't for them I wouldn't be in the blessed restaurant to begin with).

                          mcdonalds

I too heard about soy in the meat, so I avoid it at mcdonalds.

Yesterday I bought a McDonalds Premium salad for lunch.

It was a bacon ranch one with grilled chicken. Of course I threw away the croutons (8g carbs) and the Ranch Dressing (9g carbs)

                          The McDonald's website

says it has 12 g carbs and 3 g fiber, so that would seem like 9 carbs.

Then it lists the same salad without the chicken and it is 9 carbs with 3 carbs fiber, so it appears that the chicken has 3 carbs.

So, it was not that great of a low carb meal, especially if you are in induction.

I also took a look at the Wendy's website and I can't believe it. They list Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad (no almonds, no noodles, no dressing)
as having a whopping 17 carbs. Can that be right?
