      Re: Chili's resturant

I love Chili's. Then again, I pretty much order the same thing each time, a steak with brocolli and melted butter. YUM!

Also, you can order a Cobb salad (don't remember if Chili's has them or not...sorry!) with chicken/turkey, egg, tomato, olives, avocado and bleu cheese.

As other former waitstaff have noted, servers are usually very accomodating. I guess it helps that I say I have food allergies. Then I don't get the sideways, know-it-all glance from an uninformed/misinformed waiter. I guess if they think my throat could swell up and I could stop breathing if they bring me bread, it kinda stops the questioning!

        Re: Chili's resturant

Our boss bought us lunch from there 2 days ago LOL I quickly jumped on their website and looked at the nutritional value of stuff. I ended up with the grilled salmon and veggies (broc and carrots). Total of 8 carbs. Salmon @ 1 and veggies @ 7. I doubled on the veggies to avoid fries, rice, etc. and ate only half of the veggies they dished out. I think it's great that restaurants are posting nutritional values. Heck, even on Jack in the Box you can "build" a meal and it post carb counts on EVERYTHING. Only trouble is trying to peel the cheese that is stuck to the buns Now I can plan ahead and jot my dinner request on a sticky BEFORE we get to the restaurant and still stay on plan.

          Re: Chili's resturant

I used to work at chilis when i first did atkins 7 years ago! I ate a lot of bacon cheese burgers no bun! But if i were you I'd get combo chicken/beef fajitas and ask for lettuce wraps(they have and will provide) instead of tortillas. Skip the rice and beans (costs extra anyway) and enjoy the shredded cheese, guac, sour cream, and a smidgen of pico. Awesome.

They also can do grilled salmon (ask for no glaze) or a steak or a grilled chicken..but that would be boring

Don't worry it's for me, not you.

I order their steak fajitas and tell them to hold the shells. It's amazing! The onions can be a little carby, so I tend to push half of those off to the side.
