  • Olive Garden experience

I know there are other Olive Garden posts, but their menu changes quite a bit compared to many other restraurants.

I ate the Chicken Marsala and asked for broccoli instead of the garlic potatoes. It was very good and seemed pretty Atkins friendly. I'm sure that the sauce had some non-induction ingredients, but I didn't exactly have a choice in the restraurant.

    Too tempting...

Og my gosh! I bet you were so tempted with all the bread. I could eat my weight in the bread. OK, maybe not that much, but I can put it away. I am going to have to steer clear of there.

I LOVE the chicken marsala, the stuffed chicken marsala is good too for OWL. I don't eat there too often becauase I'm sure it's not 100% friendly.

The bread doesn't bother me that much, not when there's a big bowl of that delicious salad they have. Yum!

Careful of the Olive Garden's Italian dressing... it has sugar in it! Only reason I know is because I used to buy the bottles of it and bought one hoping to be able to use it during induction way back when.

AUGH! Olive Garden is my number one weakness (Maybe tied with Einstein's). They give you all that delicious bread before you've even eaten anything! And I've been craving the Black Tie Mousse cake since day one. Thanks for the info on an Atkin's friendly dish. I'll steer clear while on induction, but that's good for future reference. Normally, Olive Garden is Atkins suicide for me.
I'm 26 years old, and I lost weight on this plan in 2005. I'm getting married in August and thought this would be the way to go after making little progress on other diets. I've got 20 lbs to lose for the big day!

I just had lunch there and their stuffed chicken marsala was AMAZING!! I had brocoli on the side instead of the potatoes and got some alfredo cheese sauce for my brocoli and it was great!! I didn't even find the bread all the tempting....I was more excited about the alfredo sauce for my veggies!!
