  • Japanese Steakhouse

I'm going to be eating at a Japanese steakhouse on Wednesday for lunch. Everything looks good... meat & veggies, just pass on the rice. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for, like sauces they sneak in?

It went good... I think... I didn't eat the rice, brought it home for my son. I had the soup, pretty good, mostly broth though, I got the steak & chicken with the veggies, but he was putting stuff on it while it cooked, not sure what it was but I just ate it because it wasn't worth causing a scene about. It was really good though. I passed on the dipping sauces too because I wasn't really sure what he was giving me.

But.... I'm starving now!!!! I'm going to go home and have a great big salad for dinner!!

When we go they do tend to add soy sauce to the meats. If I saw this post sooner, I would've given you a heads up. I'm sure all is fine though. I love the soup you're speaking of - YUM!

Mine use a thick sauce for the chicken so i avoid that, but other than rice, its all pretty good
