Any know what they use in their hot wings, my kids want to go out for pizza, and they have a salad bar but I want to know if their wings are ok.

The hotwings according to their website have <1 for 5 wings and no sugar grams so your best bet would be to have some wings and a salad with water. That's my guess-timation, however. I haven't been to a pizza place yet because I don't think I could watch my family eat pizza without me indulging. I would have to eat a few pieces toppings...lol. Anyway, good luck and happy living!!!!

those numbers are for the MIld wings. the hot wings jump to 5 carbs per 5 wings. You can eat the pizza as long as you have the cheese and toppings and toss that lovely disposable pate it comes on in the trash. That would be the crust for those that don't know.by the book atkinseer

I got the printout from Pizza Hut that says the HOT wings have 1 PER SERVING which it lists as 2 wing pieces. So if you eat all 10 parts they give you it is basically 5 carbs. Be careful especially when eating those and off the salad bar!

I was a General Manager for Pizza Hut for a long time, and being on the Atkin's diet in a pizza place would have been impossible if it weren't for the mild wings and salad bar. I worked 50+ hours a week, basically ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there, all wings and salad bar, (still had an occasional Lite Beer with the crew on Friday nights) and lost 27 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks. I never gained a pound of it back until I got pregnant.... The even better news was that I only gained 26 of it back during the pregnancy!!
Maybe the wings (mild) say they are loaded with sugar and carbs, but I happily dipped them in my ranch dressing and kept buying smaller work pants!215/???/150

What if...
we cook our own hotwings. I used to make them by simply frying the wings in oil and then melting a half stick of butter with a half bottle of tabasco sauce. There isn't anything harmful in the tabasco I use, no sugar, starch, carbos etc. so this should be good to go, right?Started 11-17-03
