  • What to eat at O'Charley's ???

I live in the Nashville, Tennessee area and one of my friends is coming in from MN this weekend. Looks like a group of us are going to be going out to O'Charley's for dinner on Sunday. I am so excited! At the same time, I'm scared to death 'cause I'm on Induction. They have everything from salads to steaks and seafood, and everything in-between.

Have any of you been to an O'Charley's lately? What would be something good to order. I'm thinking of just saving my veggies for the day and odering a chef's salad or a steak, but thought I'd see if any of you were familiar with the restaurant chain and had any suggestions on what to order.

Found a link to their menu.

Check out O'Charley's delicious menu featuring signature Southern-inspired dishes and Famous Chicken Tenders. Find your craveable favorites here!

Looks like there are a couple of salads that look Induction friendly, but have a look. If you were on Induction, what would you order?

My friends are not all that keen on the Atkins program, but I'm working on changing their minds. We all met for dinner last night at O'Charley's and had a great time

O'Charley's currently has a "Combo" special going on so before going there I had looked at the menu online one more time and made up my mind on a few things I would order.

I ended up getting the combo of serloin steak and chicken breast. I asked the waitress about how they were prepared. The chicken breast was not marinated. It was grilled. The steak was grilled too. The steak was yummy, the chicken was kinda dry. It came with a side and I ordered a side of broccoli. It was steamed without anything. They also had a broccoli and cheese cassarole thing, but I was affraid that would be made with non-Atkins friendly ingredients. The combo also came with a side salad with sprinkles of bacon and crutons on top. I took my roll plate (which I didn't eat any rolls) and put my salad dressing cup on it, then picked out all the crutons and put them on that plate. Got the strangest looks from my friends, LOL! ... especially as I started picking out the little flecks of carrot.

The major point of the night was to get together with friends and that was the best part. Not what we were eating.
