  • South China Buffet

A friend of ours who also eats low carb introduced us to a resturant called the South China Buffet. They have a buffet of regular "high carb" chinese food, but in the back, they have a different buffet. They call it the BBQ. There's a buffet line where you choose whatever meats, veggies, seasonings, oils, and sauces you like. You had your bowl over to the cook who stir-fries it all up and gives it back to you on a plate.

I'm not sure if all South China Buffets have this feature or if this was just a local thing. It's worth checking out there. It only costs roughly $8/person and is all you can eat....translate eat until only satisfied.

I've seen this sort of thing in unversity restaurants. On Mexican day it's mix your own taco or enchilada and they fry it up for ya! Sounds really great for chinese.

The place near us is called Mongolian BBQ. You pick all of your meats, veggies, and sauce and then pass it up to be cooked. This place is wonderful! Just don't get the eggrolls or rice!!
