  • Which meat patties are "safe" in fast food?

Sometimes, I'd LOVE to stop by McD's or Burger King or Wendy's and grab a double burger as a snack(just the patties, I don't need or like that other junk)...but I wonder...are they all 100% meat? I'm scared that there may be binders or fillers in the meat that will have carb counts. I know when I went to the store to look at frozen burgers and frozen meatballs, almost all of them had carbs(sometimes 8g per serving!), so this scares me.

    Please advise!
    Thanks,
    Dan

I am not sure if they are safe but I have been getting the burgers from Hardee's. here. The great big one with no ketchup...and of course no bun...LOL

Some fast food site have a nutritional information section. I went to the one from Hardee's today and you pick the sandwich you want and what you had on it. You can take away the buns, etc. It will then give you a calorie count and totals on nutritional info. KFC has a site you can check on the chicken, I haven't looked to see if you can take the bread off their sandwiches on the site though.
