  • Seattle-area Restaurants?

    Hi there!

I'm new to these boards, and am enjoying them quite a bit. I've just started my 2nd week of Induction and am greatly looking forward to the OWL stage. I've never missed peanut butter so much in my life!

But I have lost 8 pounds in as many days, so I'm feeling upbeat.

My question is, can anyone recommend any restaurants near Seattle that offer low-carb menu items? I've hit a few of the chains and modified my menu choices, (Outback has become my new favorite) but I wonder if there are any that specifially cater to low-carbies. A coworker told me about a pizza joint up near the Canadian border that offers a crust-less pizza, with all the toppings. If only it were closer!

Thanks, and I look forward to learning much from the boards.

I think we're on the same page. I stick to Outback (steak or Salmon), Chandlers (steak and Lobster w/ asparagus), Claim Jumper ( buffalo wings), and a few other places. There was an article in the Seattle times a few weeks ago about a lady who was opening a deli/store specializing in Low Carb foods. You may be able to find it on a search. One thing I'm hooked on is the Caeser Salad from MAD PIZZA, I add their jerk chicken to it and nix the croutons. That is my all time favorite!

one thing i found that's pretty cool (but not something i'll do every day as it's like $10 or something) is the salmon caesar salad at the keg. i ask them to serve the salmon on the side, a nice grilled piece, and it's quite a satisfying lunch or dinner.
