I went again recently and had the tilapia dish with the shrimp. Perhaps I went on a bad day, but I was extremely underwhelmed. The food wasn't bad, but it was far from very good, and for the prices they are charging one could easily pick up ingredients from the grocery store and make something far better at home. For the convenience factor it is nice however.

Houlihan's cauliflower dish is tops over Ruby Tuesday's right now IMO.

Sorry you had a bad experience. What did you not like about the meal? The tilapia? cauliflower? I agree that one could easily make the same type of dish at home. I much prefer home cooked meals myself.

Nullo - What kind of cauliflower dish do they have?

I wish we had those 2 places here. I have to deal with limited choices like Outback, Chili's, and Applebees for actual low carb meals. The upside is that there are a lot of seafood places here where i can get great stuff steamed or baked - so low to no carbs!

Regarding Ruby Tuesdays - Everything was OK, just not in any was impressive. It was all kinda blah, but maybe I was just having a blah day, who knows.

Houlihan's has the same basic cauliflower dish but seems almost twice baked, with a better bacon and cheese content.

I ate at Ruby Tuesday's this weekend. Their menu is great. It lists calories, fat, and net carbs for everything on it, even the kids' menu! I had 16 oz. of sirloin tips in gravy with grilled mushrooms (7 carbs), grilled zuccini (2 carbs), grilled broccoli (3 carbs), and ice water. It was so nice to know exactly what I could eat. My daughter's kid's meal came with a sugar-free popcicle, so I shared those 3 carbs with her! :joy

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I was back a Ruby Tuesday's last night. I had the low carb spicy chicken wrap with a spring mix salad. I had ranch dressing rather than the vinegrette. It was very good as always. I'll keep going back. I still plan to sample that cheesecake!
