    I was posting in another forum and got a lightbulb. My grandmother makes somethng called "steak roll"------and its atkins freindly!!! Please remember this is what I call a "grandma recipe" so amounts aren't exact.

    Pound out a round steak...maybe a 1/4in, or a little less, thick. Add slices of pepperoni until covered (1c is 3g carbs according to Fitday) and then lay strips of bacon over the pepperoni.

    Breakout the food processor or blender and add a handfull or two of basil, drizzle of olive oil and several pinches of salt. Blend till smooth, adding oil if needed to get a paste that's easily spread. (It doesn't need to be really salty. I've also seen her add a 'little garlic' and "couple dashes of oregano")

    Spread over the bacon, roll up the entire thing (roundsteak on the outside) and secure with toothpicks. Put into a corck pot, cover with some tomato sauce and let it cook all day. Usually served over pasta, but great on a salad!!!
