Re: Cheese Popovers
Hi Scaleskl! They do keep well in the fridge. They've never lasted long enough to see how well they do in the freezer at my house. LOLMOTHEREARTH AKA SHERRI "HOW THE WORLD TURNS AS I SEE IT"

Re: Cheese Popovers
I went to buy Almond Flour tonight to make these and a 20 oz bag was over 15.00. Guess I have to live without them!

Re: Cheese Popovers
It might be cheaper to make your own. Just grind up unroasted, unsalted, peeled almonds in a coffee grinder. Make sure you don't overgrind or you'll get almond butter.
I do this all the time. Works well. Before and after:

netrition carries a 16 oz bag for 4.99 unblanched or a 16 oz blanched for 9.99 (NOW and Bob's Mill respectively) They also have the golden flaxseed, which is tastier, IMHO.

Re: Cheese Popovers
Thanks! Does anyone use the 4.99 bag and does it taste the same? And are you saying you use flaxseed instead of almond flour in the recipe, or that it is just a better tasting flaxseed than other brands you haved bought?Originally posted by Chickladynetrition carries a 16 oz bag for 4.99 unblanched or a 16 oz blanched for 9.99 (NOW and Bob's Mill respectively) They also have the golden flaxseed, which is tastier, IMHO.

Re: Cheese Popovers
I have used both in the past, although only for cheesecake crust. I thought the unblanched was slightly "grittier" than the blanched, but more almondy. I used it the most cause 1) the price and 2) it's lower carb
