    Re: My Amazing Spinach Quiche!

I've been thinking about it and I entered my eggs as 1 large egg scrambled.....I didn't think it would make a difference. There's no additional ingredients listed for it, so I thought it would be the same as raw. It's really weird. Officially though the count is .6. Just one of the many reasons why Love this website.

      Re: My Amazing Spinach Quiche!

I made the quiche this morning. Omg... so delicious. I was really getting sick of scrambed eggs and hard boiled eggs. Great recipe. Great change!

I am glad it turned out to have lower carbs.

I used my revised recipe with the mushrooms, hot turkey sausage, and I even added some basil. I sauteed the mushrooms first. It turned out so great. I loved the flavor. Honestly, I felt like I was cheating. lol But it was a 4 carb breakfast.

It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

              Re: My Amazing Spinach Quiche!

On the same idea, last night I made the first creamed spinach that I have ever liked. Half a can of canned spinach (sorry, childhood habits die hard - if you like fresh, use that), with two, maybe three tablespoons of herb cheese (alouette, boursin, etc..) on top, popped in the microwave for 1 minute and then mixed. I ended up eating the whole can that way! So good!

this has always been a staple for me for the last year or so and I try to always have some in the freezer for the nights I just do not want to cook.

How many servings does this make? I made mine in a pan and want to know how to divide it in order to get the right carb counts.

                              14.4 divided by 8 = 1.8 carbs

                              it's 8 servings

I haven't made these in so long!! My DH keeps bringing it up because it's one of the only veggies he really enjoys! I better review haha
