    Peanut Sauce And Broccoli

    Hi,
I found in my Vegetarian Magazine a GREAT recipe for a Peanut Sauce that you use to dip Broccoli in. I had to change a few things because I didn't have cilantro (u can add it if you like...I'm not a fan), and I also added red pepper flakes. I LOVED it!!! I had it with 4oz of Broccoli which is not added in the counts below. But it is 39 calories, 5.7 carbs and 2.2 fiber...3.5 net carbs. So the total with the Broccoli is 8.5 carbs. It's really DEEEELISH!!! Here is the recipe and a pic

    Peanut Sauce and Broccoli

    Ingredients

    2 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
    1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce, lite
    1/2 tsp Cider Vinegar
    1/2 clove Garlic
    Dash Cayenne Pepper
    Dash Red Pepper Flakes
4 drops Sweetzfree or 1/2 tsp Splenda

    Directions

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl together. If thick add a little water to thin out a little. Do not make it to thin...it needs to be a little thick.
Use as a dipping sauce for fresh Broccoli. You could also boil broccoli for 2-3 minutes to it's still firm, but warm and bright in color.

      Thanks Marc
      I've had it 3 times already...lol.
I had to guess a lot with the ingredients because it called for a cup of peanut butter...I would have eaten it all so I had to make it smaller...lol. It really is yummy, esp with the broccoli
