  • Pepperoni Chips

I came across this recipe in a thing from my mom and will be trying it soon. She said they are awesome!!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place slices of pepperoni in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and pat excess grease with paper toweling. Return pan into oven and bake 2-4 minutes or until very crisp. They will keep 1-2 days in an airtight container.

Oooh, so like crispy pepperoni the way it is on pizza, but without the pizza? I like this idea. Will try tomorrow!

I have looked everywhere for pepperoni that isn't full of wheat crumbs or sugar and can't find any. Boohoo

I've used Hormel, Oscar Mayer, and Bridgford brand, all of which have no sugars and are 0 carbs per serving.

          Re: Pepperoni Chips

I have made twice already and loved them. I expected to eat a lot of them like chips, but they are filling after just a few. I'm making them today.

I spread a small amount of cream cheese between two and ate like a "sandwich."

I topped with a small slice cheddar cheese.

I broke then up for a salad topping.

For mini pizzas, I topped them with a smigen of tomato paste, cheddar cheese, a small peice of green chili pepper one slice of black olive, a small amout of cooked hamburger and broiled until melted.

I'm going to try taco type toppings this time.
