  • Sausage balls

I made these with 2 eggs but I think it would be better with 1 egg

    8oz breakfast sausage
4oz cheddar cheese(or whatever flavor you like)
    1 egg
1 bag(I don't remember how big, but not the smallest one) pork rinds plain

Crush the pork rinds to powder, mix all ingredients well, make into i guess about 1-1/2 in balls, bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or so. These were pretty tasty!!!
Caution I BITE! clicky clicky..its tricky rikki!

        Re: Sausage balls

Ohhh!! My mother would make sausage cheese balls on Christmas morning for breakfast when I was growing up. I had started doing the same with my new family, but was gonna have to skip it for myself this year. Now I don't!! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Alpha Wolf and I were just talking about the Bisquick version of these yesterday. We're gonna have to try these whilst he's here for Christmas!!! Thank you for sharing

Hmmm. Pork rinds instead of bisquick. I like the idea. We'll definitely give them a try.
