  • Stuffed Mushrooms

How about stuffed Mushrooms. Take Italian Sausage (I use mild). I don't know about the carb count all I know is mushrooms are allowed and I assume sausage is in Induction. Stuff the sausage in the mushrooms and bake at about 350-375 let them cook for maybe 20-30 minutes or so then put them on broil for maybe 10 minutes...just to make the tops crispy and brown. They are the best. I'm not real sure on the times but I can find out. My fiance makes them for me

    Hey, that sounds great!

I used to make awesome stuffed mushrooms with Ritz Cracker and crab meat stuffing...unfortunately, no more of those. :sadblinky

But, a nice little tweak to your recipe up there would be to crumble the sausage and mix with some swiss cheese or Boursin cheese...something like that....mmm....just an idea! I never tried stuffed mushrooms with sausage.

I make a stuffed mushroom recipe with sausage and cream cheese/shredded Italian cheeses. It's really good, and great to take to parties - that way I know there will be something there I can eat!

Higgies, you don't need the crackers--mix up the crab meat w/ cream cheese like the poster above does w/ the sausage and add another cheese like Mozzarella or your favorite and bake them just til the cheese melts, I like to top mine w/ parmesean cheese and brown them just a little in the broiler as well.
