        Is this suitable for induction?

Some will say that cocoa powder isn't acceptable on Induction, some will say it is.

That's generally the case if one wants chocolate!

It's not on the Induction food list.

It's a sweet, so it rather goes against the idea that Induction is about getting rid of your desire for sweet.

Hmm, but, would it be so wrong to enjoy a bit of cocoa as long as it doesnt lead to eating bad things? I'm content with a bit of sugar free jello every day and occasionally these truffles i make from splenda, cocoa and double cream.

                  Re: chocolate microwavable muffins!!

You're already "enjoying" cocoa, so why are you now asking if having it is "wrong" on Induction.

How is what your doing getting rid of your addiction/cravings for sweet?

And ... you're bargaining with food ... never a good sign.

                    Re: chocolate microwavable muffins!!

Is it on the food list? No. However unsweetened cocoa powder is used in quite a few supposedly "induction friendly" recipes, so I don't know how to take it. The Atkins chocolate truffle recipe for instance uses unsweetened baking chocolate, cream, and butter. I honestly don't know how to take it. Regardless, if you assume it is legit you can only have 1/2 of one (a full is more flax that we are supposed to have).

The chocolate truffle recipe doesn't say it's suitable for Induction. It's merely a recipe in DANDR. In fact, the truffles are mentioned under a pre-maintenance menu!

Cocoa is a permissible spice on induction granted it's kept to a very minimal amount (2Tbsp or less). I believe 2big knows the actual amount? I'd message her to find out what that is.

See... now I'm more confused Assuming it is allowed (and lord knows there are enough induction recipes with it!) then this one is, by my count, induction legal if you only eat 1/2-2/3 of one. I did eat them last time from time to time. I liked them much better with the coconut oil.

Doesn't mean they're "legal" Induction recipes.
