    Pickled eggs

I've always loved these, but the jars in stores contain sugar and are expensive. I just found this recipe online which looks like a great way to help use up an open can of the chipotles in adobo sauce. Looks like the only substitution would have to be the sugar.

So my question would be - will the eggs absorb carbs from the other ingredients along with flavor? Or would the eggs still only be .5 carb?
