    LOWCARB Homemade Granola
    ------------------------
2 TBSP Whole Psyllium Husk 0 net carb
1/4 CUP Wheat Unprocessed Wheat Bran 3 net carb
    1/2 Cup Oatmeal 19 netcarbs
2 TBSP Wheat Germ 4 net carbs
2 TBSP Golden Flaxseed Meal 0 net carbs
1/4 CUP Soy Protein PROTEIN 95TM Natural Vanilla Flavor 0 carb
1/4 Cup Splender 0 netcarbs (I'm not sure about this?)
1/4 Cup Distilled Water 0 netcarbs
    1/2 stick real butter.
3 TBSP Davinci Sugar Free Syrups I would make sure at least 1 TBSP is Spice Blend since I think that is a large part of what gives it the granola flavoring.
Try combining it with banana, or raspberry.

    ----------
    Add Ins
    Almonds
    Pecans
    Walnuts
    Sunflower seeds

    Instructions:
Mix Dry ingredients (1st 6 ingredients) and place in a glass cooking dish. In a double boiler, mix butter, splender, distilled water, & Davinci syrup and heat over medium heat. Stir until hot. Pour over dry mixture and bake on 325 until crispy but not burnt.

Let stand until cool and then break apart into serving sizes. Total Netcarbs for a batch (minus add ins) was 26 carbs. Divide it down to the amount of carbs you allot for breakfast. Makes Almost 2 cups. Of course, you can omit the oatmeal and greatly reduce the carbs. I am trying to add small amounts of oatmeal back into my diet.

I made Raspberry Walnut & Vanilla Almond Pecan.

How I came up with it.
I looked at the back of the bag of FlaxOmeal's lowcarb granola and created my own. As you can see from the recipe, instead of Maltitol I used a butter, splender, distilled water combo. There is a brownsugar (sugar free) product on the market that would probably be even better. It's called something like brownsugar twin or something.

You know I saw Splenda syrup and the label said 0 carbs for like 1/4 cup. I wondered about it also.

      hot w/half and half

That it might even work better.

I have been packaging this granola in freezer bags in serving sizes. In the morning I pull it out and warm it in the microwave and pour 1/2 & 1/2 on it. It's the best morning breakfast cerial.

Also, leave out the oatmeal and there is only like 2 carbs per serving.
