Hi, .... I was wondering if anyone has PD ..
I was diagnosed 12 months ago with Early Onset PD .. at 48 years of age.
I did Atkins in 2005 and loved it.
Some meds I was taking have totally messed up my sense of satiety/thalamus etc and I have put on 15 pounds since mid Jan this year.
I have come off this medicine 3 weeks ago but I am still feeling sick the whole time and craving carbs like mad.
Being this fat and not being able to get into ANY of my clothes is not contributing to the "smiling determination" I am supposed to have in dealing with all that is happening.
I started induction last monday 28 March,... probably not a good time with it being Easter.. and I failed miserably.
I am starting again today ..
Is anyone on any PD meds by any chance ??
