RE-INTRODUCING FOODS TO YOUR DIET
Once you’ve completed the elimination phase of the yeast fighting plan, you’ll begin to re-introduce foods, one at a time, to see if they cause problems.
You’ve avoided yeast-containing foods for three weeks, so now it’s time to find out if you’re sensitive to yeast.
The yeast challenge is done by simply eating a tablet of brewer’s yeast. You can find them in any health food store.
If the brewer’s yeast doesn’t bother you, try a couple of tiny bites of a moldy cheese, like blue cheese, the following day.
If it still doesn’t cause a problem, try a little vinegar with your salad dressing the following day.
If you have any symptoms, avoid yeast-containing foods for several more weeks.
If there are no symptoms, you are probably able to eat yeast-containing foods cautiously.
