  • Do I have yeast or not?

I have had yeast infections over the years, especially last fall. After a course of antibiotics, it took about 5 months to cure the yeast. I noticed some symptoms in the last few days and so I took the spit test to see if that was the problem. It started out with big danglers but after a few minutes some of the stuff was floating and the dangler part sunk to the bottom of the glass. The water is clear in between with no danglers. Do I have yeast then? I'm confused. I have been having a slow loss and haven't lost in a month. I actually put back on a couple of pounds. I thought maybe this was the problem. Any info. you could give me would help. Thanks

If the saliva didn't float, then you more than likely have a yeast problem.

Did you take acidophlisis pills to help get the good bacteria back into your system after your course of antibiotics?

I suggest that you read all the sticky notes in this forum and read and learn from the links provided in the sticky notes. There are things you can do to get the yeast under control and get your weight loss going again. It could be the yeast overgrowth causing your weightloss slow down or it could be your body taking a break and catching up and not yeast related at all.

Check out the KISS WOE. If your problem is yeast, then You may need to eat unprocessed foods to help starve out the yeast. If you problem is yeast, then you will need to cut out all the foods that promote yeast growth. You will learn what they are by reading about KISS(Keep It Simple, Sweetie) is what KISS stands for. I am talking about eating unprocessed meats, unprocessed veggies, olive oil, water and fresh herbs.

If it is yeast you will need to take suppliments to help rid the overgrowth and suppliments that replace the good bacteria. Dr. Atkins has a great book called VitaNutriant solution. In this book he explains the suppliments and the amounts you need to take for candida. You may want to get this book or check it out of your local library.

You don't want to eat this strict, if your problem is NOT yeast. But if it is, this is the way to get back on track.

There is alot involved in riding yourself of overgrowth of candida. So learn all about it.

There is help out there if your problem is yeast!
