While treating the yeast is it normal to feel really tired? I have had so much energy since starting this WOE and for the last few days I have to really push myself to do anything. I was wondering if I should go to the doctor to have some blood work done. I am taking a yeast killing supplement as well as probiotics and a multi vitamin that includes iron. I have lost quite a bit this week and also wondered if that was the cause of the fatigue. I have lost 7 pounds in 9 days.(Not that I'm complaining)

Re: Fatigue
You will feel tired while actively killing off the overgrowth of yeast. It is up to you if you want to have the blood workup done.
There are lots of symptoms you could experience while attacking the yeast. I experienced brainfog, just couldn't think straight. But it did pass.
If you had had the blood workup before you started elimating the yeast you could have compaired how the diet and suppliments were working, but to late now.
Congrats of the 7 pound loss in 9 days. The first month of my KISS diet, I lost 15 pounds. So I understand how it can get to moving and moving fast. The losses will slow down, hate to tell you this. But it's the facts, dang it!
I had been stalled out for 9 months prior to the KISS approach, so it was wonderful to see those pounds disappear.
About the multi-vitamin with Iron. Sometimes the iron will cause constipation. I buy my multi-vitamins, free of iron. We get lost of Iron in the protein we eat.
Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Re: Fatigue
Thanks Becky Sue! I didn't get the blood work done before I started this WOE. That was a big mistake. I did Atkins 5 years ago and fell off the wagon when my brother in law died tragically. I kept trying to do Atkins but couldn't get through the third day. I guess I was really addicted. Well, anyway that is why I didn't get the blood work done. I didn't really know if I would get myself away from the sugar and starches. Now that I have, I am kicking myself. Oh well! My family doctor does Atkins himself so I know he will be supportive of what I'm doing.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!
