Oh pooh! I got a 172. Hey I rhymed and I didn't even try. It said that I needed to try a treatment too. Well, I'm working on it. I still had yeast this morning when I did the test.

if you have the yeast problem it will just take time for you to kill the yeastie beasties. Eating pure unprocessed foods will help so much and the suppliments. be patient, just takes time. like anything worth while, just takes time!

Well, I did the test again this morning and within 2 minutes I had those gross leg things! So today, the doctor is calling me in meds for yeast and I am beginning a probiotic. Plus, I did have coffee this morning but I am cutting out cheese, mushrooms and dairy all together for a few days and see if it gets any better. If not, then I will go strict I guess. I want this to go AWAYYYYYYY!!

By the way, is Candida the same thing as a yeast infection "down there"? 'Cause I don't have any problems like that. Also, I have been very lightheaded and dizzy the last couple days. And my memory - for the last 2 weeks (hmmm, when I stopped losing) I have had to return home after heading out somewhere like 5 times because I did not remember something important. One day, I had to return twice in a row!!!! How stupid! Are these part of the symptoms?

Please check out the links in the sticky notes on this forum. I think you will find the answers to some of your questions. The more you understand about yeast overgrowth the better you will be able to deal with it and get it under control.

The symptoms could very well be from yeast, and then again maybe not. I can tell you that I did have the brainfog like you discribed(memory, couldn't remember things)

Yeast infections can be down(you know where) but it can be systematic instead. The yeast can cause, coated white tongue, rashes, nail fungal infections, vagina infections, infections in intestines. So you see it can be bout anywhere and it takes awhile to get it under control.

Learn as much as you can by reading the links I recommended and do a search google it (candida).

I haven't done the spit test yet, but I was re-reading the Atkins book last night and read the chapter on yeast again, and thought, holy ---- Last time I did atkins, I stalled for 8 months, no matter what I did! I have so many of these symptoms, I've had so many antibiotics for acne and a severe respiratory infection over summer... gah! I will have to try this spit test right away.

Wow, I scored a 148. I guarantee you that 99.99% of men like myself have never considered this a problem.

Should you consult a doctor before treatment or is it safe to try a coarse of action right away?

Look around this site for things you can do first. Becky Sue is a fabulous source of information. I got out of it by cutting out cheese altogether for about 2 weeks and yeast causing items such as mushrooms. I also got on a regimin of taking Acidipholous and Physillium husks every day. I do eat cheese again and am ok. I do not do the spit test anymore because even when I am losing weight, it always sinks! Good luck.
