  • Yea! I made it through day one, KISS style!!

    Okay, so I have been really bad. I pretty much gave up on the whole KISS diet b/c I didn't wanna give up all of those yummy things, but enough is enough. Who knows where I could be right now had I just followed the KISS plan. I would have a Diet Rite and not care that I stopped losing. That's silly, to throw it all away over a soda.

    Well, yesterday was a fresh new start. I took my probiotic and ate fresh veggies, of course I washed them good, and nothing processed, no art. sweeteners, no mushrooms, no cheese, nothing that I wasn't supposed to have.

    To be honest I HATE eating this way, but I feel great this morning, just knowing that I did something better for myself. Yea, me! LOL

    The only problem I did have was I cannot eat salad w/ oil and ACV. I cannot stomach ACV. What do you guys use in place? I am so bummed too b/c I just bought NO CARB Italian dressing....oh well. Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

    Today was my first day, and it was ok. I haven't felt any different yet, but I really miss cheese!!! Breakfast is going to be hard with no cheese. Oh well, I guess i will just suck it up and take it like a woman!! How are you doing Steph??
    What would we do without it?

      I actually have been doing great thanks!

      I stopped the ACV and the bloating I was experiencing went away, thankfully. The scale is moving again, too! yippie

      I think I may have an intolerance to the "mother" in the acv. Right now I am eating SOME cheese and some bacon. The scale is moving fine for me right now and I feel so much better, so I am going to do to the doctor and see if I do have Candida. If I do, then I will go from there. I never experienced any of the symptoms, I haven't really used antibiotic my whole life b/c I am allergic to penicilin and amaxocilin, and I was on BC for a total of MAYBE 4 months tax, my whole life.

      I DO think I was having a food intolerance to mushrooms though. I was eating about 1 1/2 cups a day since I started, when I had never really eaten them before.

      So I decided, if I am not bloated, the scale is moving, I'm not having any symptoms, and I feel great, no need to fix something that I don't know needs fixin' , ya know?

      How about you? Were you experiencing any of the symptoms or anything?

        Your story is just like mine!! I am allergic to pennicillin and amox just like you!! I haven't taken an antibiotic in 6 years!! I was eating a LOT of mushrooms, and my 3-4 ounces cheese daily. I have no other symptoms except the coating on the tounge ( I know that is gross) and my spit test turns postive right away. I am still losing, and feel fine. I am going to try the KISS for a while and take my probiotic and I like the ACV so that will be fine. I do think I am giving up mushrooms for good, I can live without them. I liked them because they were low in calories, but there are so many other yummy veggies out there. Thanks, you are one of my fav ADBBers!!!

          That is so wild! I thought I was the only one allergic to both in the whole world! LOL. It makes sence though!

          I hope it goes well for you, I really do!! Please keep me updated! I am rooting for ya!!

          We are very much alike, I was just looking at your stats. I am a little shorter, but I started out a much higher weight. We are pretty much the same weight right now, too! Hmmm, Do I have a twin??
