  • Back to Square Freakin' One

Okay. I had been doing sooo great with this whole KISS thing. I hate the limited choices, but I was surviving. I was going to starve them with the diet and I helped out by taking a probiotic, just because.

Well, lastnight I made a taco sald. COMPLETELY induction legal, but WAYYY off of KISS. The salsa (no sugar) had vinegar, I had sour cream, and some cheese. It was so yummy but SOO not worth it. I jumped 2 whole freakin pounds. I am so mad right now.

Well, I made my usual boring breakfast of eggs...no bacon, no sausage

I had my OoO and ACV concoction , and took my garlic. I will take my Probiotic later, before dinner.

This is sooo frustrating. I just gave up KISS lastnight b/c I was going strong 2 weeks w/ no results, which completely sucks. I know it takes time and blah blah blah..but it is so hard.

Please tell me I am not the only one back at square one with this....

If you are on the other side of the fence on this one, how long did it take you to kill these f*****g yeasties?

Re: Back to Square Freakin' One

KISS is only as boring as you make it. you could have made fresh salsa with tomotoes onions peppers and cilantro and had a legal for you one. you can use that ACV to make KISS mayo and enjoy many of your Atkins induction dishes. you can use the ACV to make many salad dressings legal for KISS too.

come on you just got lazy last night. GO read http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ad.php?t=26814 and adapt the card to reflect your KISS program. Use it if you decide to jump off again so you have to really think abiout the health benefits you are giving up cause you want something not healthy for you.

oh andyou are not back to square one just a little set back all the yeasties you got rid of didn't repopulate overnight just like all our Atkins lost pounds don't jumpo back on us from one cheat.

Thanks 2 big. You are right, I did just get lazy. I should have stood my ground.

Thanks so much for the link, I am going to check it out right now. I could have made those recipes, and I should have. I guess I learned my lesson.

      Thanks again

Yeah I know its hard...I am a man of iron and steel and yet Atkins + no yeast for killing candida is hard even for a proverbial powerhouse of a man like me....

I have done the KISS diet it was not so bad.
I had mostly Omelet with cram cheese taste almost like crapes. Yum I think I will eventually add strawberries to this concotion.
          Recommended fresh meats
I also had alot of creamed spinach that I made with cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. again yum.
It really was not so bad, just keep going I was stalled for six weeks before that and now I am going going.( and I can not afford the probiotic I had some yogurt before I began)

Re: Back to Square Freakin' One

Hi! I am new to this board. Have been lurking over all the threads on yeast and weightloss. I went straightaway yesterday and got my OoO, my Braggs vinegar and my "good bacteria" pills. Today my head is killing me and I have no desire to eat at all because it seems like nothing is worth eating without my mayo, cheese and heavy cream or half and half. How do you all do it? Don't know how long I can hang on without having my daily 5 cups of tea. What besides water can we have? I know I probably sound depressing, but at this point all I can think of is giving it in already? Any tips or suggestions?

Hi! Is there anyone out there still following the KISS diet. I didn't get anykind of response from my last post so not sure. Trying to find out if it is worth it or not to follow this way of eating. In my last post, I asked about what is allowed to drink other than water. Maybe I am getting the candida control diet and the Kiss mixed up with each other. If following the Kiss are we allowed tea, either hot or cold? Haven't really had a problem following it other than I hate water. I see a couple of years ago it was a hot topic. Is anyone that followed it back then still around to let us know if it indeed is worth the extra trouble? And is the Kiss diet or the candida control the better to follow kill the yeasties?? Thanks for any help I can get.

Re: Back to Square Freakin' One

the thing I am wondering, is that once you do KISS, it seems like there is no going back. Can't you just cut down on dairy, and cut mushrooms out and see how it goes? I hate the thought of eating like this for the rest of my life, I don't think I can do it. I feel like I can't eat anything, and I am quite upset.

Re: Back to Square Freakin' One

okay guys first some advice about ADBB posting.
if you have additional questions please don't post them in somebody elses topic cause folk who skim the forum will think you are just responding to the initial post and may not read it. click the new topic button and post your questions and somebody will get to them who can answer for you.

Now for both of your questions

one you can have mayo BUT you need to make your own using the ACV as the acid in the mayo or you can use lemon juice. all mayo is is egg oil acid and any flavoring you want. some folk add Splenda cause they like it sweet, other do it plain and still others go hog wild adding garlic and all kinks of fresh herbs and spices. I make basic and flavor it as I use it.

Dr Atkins says you can have cream cheese and mozzarella because those are un aged cheeses and not containing any fungus but KISS says no so you need to see how far you need to go to get rid of your infection. It is like some folk can just take antibiotics with an infection and others need more addtional meds and treatment for the same infection. Your body will let you know how much it will tolerate. yeast die off isn't a pretty thing and cause symptoms very much like induction flu. The good thing isd you know you are getting better cause they are dying.

Now about being there forever. once you are yeastie free with a good healthy intestinal flora from taking your probiotics and killing the yesties you can begin to add back the forbidden foods one at a time sort of like Atkins OWL as you see if your body can handle those foods and not become reinfested. make sure you clean all fruits, nuts, seeds, and veggies as they can be contaminated from soil or airborne spores. watch your other foods and see.

the trouble with tea is the tea leaves can be containinated during the drying process with molds and spores same as for dried herbs and spices, even cocoa beans and you can re infect yourself just as you are attermpting to clean yourself. It is up to you to decide if you need the tea that much that you are willing to risk it.

                  Happy low carbing.

Atkid it wasn't that you hijacked itor did something bad to her topic it was that you were missed by others cause you were hidden in here. like today when i logged on there are 14 pages of new posts in topics for me which is over 240 topics so I can't read them all and look for new questions in old topics just as others don't neither and if the original poster has gotten their answer and moved on to a new issue they may not come back neither so a new person might think we were ignoring them and not feel loved on ADBB cause they were not geting answers while other folk did.

                              Welcome to ADBB too.
