Probably a silly question, but can we still eat butter?
I am so upset about this candida thing!!! I LOVE cheese, and it will be missed. Do I have to give up butter also? No butter, mayo, cheese, its awful. I guess if I could at least have butter I would feel a tiny bit better. Thanks.
What would we do without it?

Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

I think you need to check some of the posts in here. if you make your own mayo using your ACV as the vinegar or lemon juice, recipes for both are in the database you can still have mayo.
Butter is sugar free and a fat so you can have itby the book atkinseer

you may need to melt your butter and scrape the white scum off it and have pure fat.

Are you following Kiss or Candida control? I think I am going to go the Kiss way. How have your results been so far? I have dropped 2 lbs. in four days but think that is mainly because I haven't been eatting nearly enough food in my opinion. I am still suffering with the headaches (don't know if that is the Yeasties or the caffeine withdrawal) and every now and then I am feeling twitches or cramping low in the stomach area. Going to go back and review the rules from KISS, was happy to see 2big tell you we can have butter though. Will make my veggies so much more inviting. Let me know how your mayo turns out. Thanks!

I am doing KISS, also. I got the ACV today, and had 3 tablespoons with dinner. I liked it, so that won't be so bad. I will let you know on the mayo, I plan to make it tomorrow. Its nice to see that we are in this together!! We will kill the yeasties!!! Well, the bad ones at least.

I just want to chip in with a quick comment here.
Your thread title is "this is probably a silly question". I just want you to know that the only silly questions are the ones that arent asked.
No matter how silly the question sounds to you, I always want you to post them. If it doesnt help you, it will help others

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!
