  • How strict?

Ok, I'm going to start a yeast free diet next week, since I'll be off penicillin by then. I had a root canal and my tooth was abcessed, so I need to take the antibiotic...and Idon't see a point of starting until I'm done with it.
Now, how strict do I actually have to be? Is one carb-y meal a week gonna hurt? I go out with my friends on Tuesdays and we eat chinese (dumplings and shrimp mei fun which is made with cellophane noodles)
I'm taking 1000000mg nystatin three times a day and acidophilus pearls right now. As soon as it gets here, I'm also going to start taking Formula SF722.

are you yeast infested or just taking precautions because of the antibiotics?
you may not even have an over growth after your antibiotics finish cause you are using probiotics tro replace the gut bacteria when your antibiotic kills it.

you are staving the yeasties to death so think how having a ppig our every 7 days will effect the starvation of those yeasties and decide for yourself they multiply rapidly in good growing conditions.

The doc and I think that I've been infested for a long time. I've had many of the symptoms for a long time. GI problems, chemical sensitivities, itchiness, fatigue..
I'm type 2 diabetic and hypothyroid, but getting those under control didn't help the symptoms. When i was a kid, I was always getting upper respiratory infections that turned into bronchitis and ear infections, so I was frequently on antibiotics. Before I I was diagnosed with diabetes, I ate ALOT of refined carbs and sugar.
Right now, I eat alot of cheese, bacon, vinegar, mayo, peanuts etc... and was wondering if that once a week thing might not be too bad, since it's alot less of the yeast friendly foods that I've been eating, with the meds on top of it now.

DOes it really make sense to you to regrow them once a week right now. You can eat food that doesn't have to be bad for your health since y'all are going out you could order something friendly to your yeast battle. Atkins does not allow for any cheat meals either.

once you have concured them then you can reintroduce the yeaste diet forbiudden foods one at a time sort of like Atkins OWL and see hour your body handles them.
