Hello all!
I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself to this forum. I will be starting the KISS program on Monday in order to battle what I hope are Candida issues, and would love to hear from anyone who has had experience with this program--I have read through a bit of this forum, so I think I know what to expect--although I suppose you never really know...
I did the spit test some time ago and found myself rife with yeast (apparently) although my doctor had found no sign of them. I have read recently that this is common however, since doctors usually only test for one kind and there are up to three? Anyway, I figure it is worth a try, and since I am also on a low-oxalate diet for other issues, I think it would be a good time to just go cold turkey and cut out anything that might cause me problems. I KNOW this is going to be difficult--I have some serious weaknesses for cream, and wine, and cheese, not to mention dark chocolate...but this is for the best.
Supplements I am taking:
A good multiple vitamin
600 extra milligrams of magnesium at bedtime
2 calcium citrate tabs before each meal (for the low-oxalate issue)
Candida Clear twice daily (which has OoO, Pau D'Arco, Black Walnut, and Caprylic Acid)
I also have acidopholus and garlic pills, but I have heard that I should "cleanse" for three weeks before starting those, any ideas on that?
