It seems that I've fallen off the wagon a bit too much lately. I've regained 4 pounds in the last week. I'll eat good most of the day, then sabotage myself in the evenings if I leave the house for any reason. I'm going to punish myself to stay in... except for New Year's Eve.... then I'm going to Re-Induct again on New Year's Day. Hmmm... I might just start re-induction even sooner... then just "cheat" on New Year's Eve.
Yup.... I will. It all begins tomorrow morning. No reason to wait another few days to get started.... and I won't have to drink as much to get tipsy since I'll be in ketosis. I refuse to celebrate the New Years without a few drinks.
After New Years.... it's back to being totally strict all over again.
Wish me luck... I'm still aiming at being 10 pounds lighter before my BF returns on the 11th.... and because of my recent cheating, I need to lose 7 pounds, instead of 3. I'm bumping up the cardio to help make my goal more attainable, so we'll see what happens.

I know you're right... but I really want to "party" on New Years. My mind is already made up, so I'm being stupid and stubborn about it.
I did start off this morning back on Induction though.... breakfast (late) is salmon and broccoli with butter, raw apple cider vinegar and liquid amino's.
I did my morning cardio too.

Just an update.... to let you know I'm still alive.
I did cheat on New Years... but not as terrible as I normally do when I "allow" myself to cheat. I regained 1.5 pounds.... and dropped it back off as of this morning (4 days later). Of course, it would have been nice to drop 1.5 "more" pounds off... but I had a great time on New Years.
I'm not sure I should call this a candida cleansing journal anymore because I finished my cleanse and decided to add some stuff back in. I'm not sure if I should even call my "diet" Atkins OWL anymore either. I'm eating more like a bodybuilder or kinda like south beach these days... closer to 40/40/20. Maybe it's almost like Atkins Maintenance. I don't know anymore. Some days I eat higher fat and lower carbs and other days I eat higher carbs and lower fat, but no matter what, I get plenty of protein in.
Who knows... all I know is that it's working, and I'm enjoying my morning oatmeal.
I'm not sure if/when I will try severely cutting back on carbs again... but I'm still not eating any white stuff.

You are doing what I am except I am still doing the Yeast Cleanse....that takes at least 2-3 months to clear out. Is your "spit test" clear?

Honestly, I haven't done another spit test. I really don't have many, if any, symptoms anyways, so it's hard to tell.
The only think I've had lately is some depression/fatigue.... but if you had my life right now, that wouldn't be considered strange. (going thru alot) Other then that I've had a little more gas then I was having during my strict CAD, but not bad.
Otherwise, no skin trouble, no more post nasal drip, and I haven't even been very achy, even though it's been raining for almost 2 weeks straight... with more to come soon. (NOT normal for southern CA)
I haven't added much back in, so I'm kinda following one of the versions of the CAD that had "levels" that you were supposed to follow for a period of time. I started off super clean, and have just added a few things back in. From what I understand, unless you are allergic to yeast, you whould be able to add yeast/mold foods slowly back into your diet, as long as you do not eat white sugar or processed foods.
Since beginning the cleanse after Thanksgiving, this is all I've had that wouldn't be considered "okay" on a CAD diet. Other then a few cheats, I didn't add any other stuff till after the New Year.
hot sauce in my egg whites some mornings
mushrooms once (christmas party cheat)
bread once (christmas day)
vinegar in my salad dressing/marinade a few times
yeast in my fiber one cereal a few times (could be considered processed)
cheese once or twice
....still no sugar or processed food
So what AM I following???? I'm nto sure, but I'm down about 1/2 pound a day and I'm feeling good all around and strong in the gym. (except for some of life's issues)

I'm too upset to go into details... but i'm severely depressed and emotionally worn out right now.
All in one day....
My snuggle kitty, my best friend, my companion.... died after months of suffering from a difficult to diagnose problem. She died in the recovery room post-surgery, after I was given the first taste of hope that she was finally going to live pain free and healthy again after her surgery.
Then... after a whole day of barely eating/drinking/bathing, I found out that my closest relative may be in some serious legal trouble, and I have no way of helping him.
I'm beside myself in sadness..... emotionally worn out.... and have been crying at the drop of a hat, after hours of hysterical tears and screams.
My friend came over and insisted that I smoke some appetite stimulating herbal stuff, so I might possibly create an appetite. I don't know how I did it.... but I still stuck to healthy foods tonight. I'm sure I haven't had anywhere near enough nutrition.... but atleast I ate something. Even on appetite stimulating "herbs".... I barely ate. Normally, I cannot touch the stuff because it makes me eat uncontrollably. (please no anti-drug talk... i only did it to make myself eat. i don't give a darn about the high and i do not do it regularly.)
Oh geez.... i don't even know what to write. I'm so lost.
