  • Die off cravings?

do not ignore all cravings...especially very strong ones...I have done that and ended up very sick as a result ..I will not bore you with the details but know that sometimes people crave foods when the are short a nutrient be careful you are getting everything you need to be healthy in your diet!...Cravings are NOT always bad!!!...People I hope you are not thinking that!!!...your body can crave things that it needs as well as things it thinks it needs and that is a concern, imho, when people are trying to loose weight they ignore cravings that are a red flag for an insufficient amount of nutrition. I am not convinced that things like hair loss, period changes and other things people blame on carbs or yeast..are the problem here I think sometimes people ..including me (I made myself sick myself one time!)...misread or misunderstand how to do this program and do not fulfill all the requirements to be healthy..

Ok no one NEEDs coffee...except me.....post your menu in the place where they do that ...with all the changes who knows where that is ..and let these guys look at it to make sure you are getting what you need in the way of vits and minerals....

ok I am ranting ...but you can do this program in a solid healthy manner and not be as ill as people seem to get here ...honestly!...it just has to be done right..no junk avoid packaged foods, drink water.....eat your veggies, all of them...avoid preservatives, too much of any one food blah blah blah.exercise....I am done....

you are suffering from a nonmedical doc diagnoising your ailment and looking in her files for solutions that worked the last time you had this conditon type symptoms and prescribing those things you used in the past to help feel better. This doc is you and your brain right now is searching all its memoery files trying to make you feel better. You do have some physical additions to the caffien in the coffee and just as drug addict gets withdrawal symptoms so too are you. Like the addict your brain is saying hey I know what you need to feel better just get some _________ trust me that aleays worked in the past. Ignore it. Just like the drug addict you need to tough this out and know you are closer to feeling better every minute you don't give in.

If the die-off symptoms are still prevalent after all this time, you should cut back on your anti-fungal meds until you get some of your energy back. Are you still taking your high potency multi vitamin/mineral supplement and your EFA's, and taking a Calcuim supplement like Dr. Atkins recommends??? I notice that if I miss my multi... or take one of those pathetic 100% RDA vitamins, I'm tired throughout the day.

After 4 1/2 weeks, I'd assume that you should be well past your die-off stage.... unless you've recently been cheating on your CAD cleansing diet, or eating things that might be questionable, even though you thought you were doing it all right.

Wasn't it you that posted somewhere else recently that you had coffee with cream?? That could be causing your syptoms. (coffee= mold, cream = dairy/lactose feeding yeast)

I've been having cravings lately too... but I blame them on the limited food choices we have. I'm dying for some chocolate.... but even unsweetened cocoa powder or chocolate bars are full of mold because of the process in which cocoa is manufactured.

What seems to help me is drinking the medicinal herbal teas, such as DeTox or Dandelion or Pau D' Arco tea. The warm fluids seem to help with my cravings.

I've been craving a sampler from Bennigan's for the last day or so... Probably cuz I add one when I fell off the wagon a couple of weeks ago. I am such a carb addict!!! I'm staying away until it goes away. Hang in there :hug

I agree fully. Sometimes our body is lacking sufficient amounts of certain vitamins and minerals. Our bodies are so amazing that they have their little ways of telling you so!!!

What are you craving other than coffee? If it's anything sweet or carby, that's normal. Candida needs the sugars to thrive and you tend to crave more of it as they die off. If you are craving whole foods, then it is OK for you to induldge, however, if you are craving foods that will prevent you from completing a successful CAD, then it is best to leave these foods alone.

If you are drinking decaf, this is allowed during CAD. However, you are probably just craving the little bit of caffeine in it. You can still enjoy your decaf, just make sure you don't go over your limit.

Everyone reacts to the die-off differently. I only had abdominal cramping on occassions, but other than that, my energy was restored and I felt alot better.

If you do happen to be craving sweets, use L-Glutamine to rid them. If you are lacking energy, take CoQ10 to boost it.
