Sounds like you're having a hard time. Sorry I can't help you, I really don't have any answers for you on this one. I'm stalling at the mo, and Emma suggested I try the spit test. I'll do it tomorrow morning. If its positive I'll be looking for tips too!

took me 5 days to beat it, though i dont think i was very overgrown and that id caught it quite early!

i did have to cut out cream though!

        Have you read the stickies?

i dont really think its about what is right and wrong, dairy foods cause yeast overgrowths so its about what affects you personally, i seperately cut things out and i noticed a huge difference when i cut cream out, that was my main cause.

Hi War. An apt name, as it seems you are defo at war with the silly yeast!!
Thankfully I'm ok, spit test completed and I passed with flying colours!
My stall is caused by something else apparantly.

I've used acidolphilus capsules before and yes, you do need to refridgerate them. They are quite expensive too if I remember rightly.

Hope you start to see a loss soon. Skinny vibes being sent your way.

Re: Yeast... what do i eat? geez....

I actually had pretty obvious signs of a yeast overgrowth. and i had symptoms for years and didnt realize it. i started to gain weight and inches in my stomach which i usually dont . i gained 3 inches just in my stomach after a 10 day trial of acidophilus i lost 3 inches i didnt check teh weight but it was a definate sign and i noticed my random "heat rash" was gone so it may have been from yeast overgrowth. I also started taking ACV two Tbsp a day but planned on more cuz ACV is also a metabolizer, and assists with BMs.

You might try taking Oil of Oregano too. I hear a pretty potent anti-yeast/fungus supplement. i normally drank my ACV its not too bad taken as a shot (ive had worse at the local bar) and its goes thru me faster (if you catch the hint) and i would wait until it was thru my system , bout an hour, and take acidophilus.

I was always hoping the ACV wouldnt clean out the probiotics so i just offset the dosing to avoid it.

but definately try the oil of oregano. actually a company called enzymatic has a pill based two week cleanse that falls under the carb limit of induction. you might check for something similar to assist you
