For me, it took a few months before i got the yeast symptoms to be gone.

I think the eating pure(foods not processed) is what helped me the most. By eating unprocessed foods you starve the yeast overgrowth and that is what it takes to get rid of the yeastie beasts. My 2 cents!

I assure I felt rough while I was killing off the yeast, but it was so worth it to get the weight stall broken.

What I ate was pure, unprocessed meats, fresh or frozen veggies, olive oil, lemon juice, eggs, lots of toss green salads, dressing was olive oil and lemon juice mixed together, fresh ground pepper. I didn't use dry spices, only fresh spices. I also ate fresh side pork(unprocessed bacon) and I saved the grease and seasoned my veggies with this grease. Let me tell you this side pork doesn't taste like bacon, so you might not like it. To me it tastes like crisp thin pork chop.
I cook the side pork by laying it on a large cookie sheet and baking it in the oven, in a single layer(approx 45 min, 350 degrees). I line the cookie sheet with foil so it is easy to clean up. I bake the pork until it is nice and golden brown and crunchy. I just love it. This is a good way to get your fat % up too.

I hope for you good results and if I can help you, just let me know.

Becky Sue, I am trying the recipe for side pork today. I had no idea what side pork was but I looked at the super market this weekend and found it. I will let you know how I like it.

Happyme, let me know what you think of side pork. I really like it.

Chynna, thanks for the compliment. Appreciate the happy dance!

I looked better a couple weeks ago, before I fell. I am healing and that is what matters.

              Happy low carbing!

The first batch I over cooked and it was hard and crunchy. I don't like crunchy bacon and I don't like crunchy side pork. I tried again and made it just right. I actually like it better room temp or cold. I will make again. I also saved the grease. Thanks for the suggestion and now I know what side pork is
