    Is this a Candida reaction?

OK, I should probably know this, but I'd like the experts to weigh in on this!! I added back ricotta cheese for the first time after doing the cleanse. I ate it this morning as part of my breakfast. I am a bit gassy and bloated. Did not get that reaction from adding vinegar back in.

So does this mean I should eliminate this food from my diet, as I don't tolerate it???? :confused

Sounds like it to me....try avoiding it for awhile longer. Are you able to tolerate any other dairy yet? I cannot.

I tried a little bit of cheddar cheese (like 1 oz) yesterday and just now for lunch. I don't think that is affecting me.

That's good...maybe it's just the ricotta for some reason your body isn't tolerating it.
Have you done a new "spit test" recently?

So the ricotta ended up feeding the "yeasties".....are you going to do the cleanse again?

Not sure. I'm going to stop the ricotta asap and see what happens first. I never did have IBS or other major yeast type symptoms, just stalled weight-loss. So if I can identify the foods that are preventing me from losing, then eliminate them, that may be all I need to do. If that doesn't help, I'll do the cleanse again.

That sounds like a good plan.

I'd keep out *all* dairy for awhile longer.... It could've been a cumulative effect of the cheddar those two times *and* the ricotta.
