  • Some charts and forms and such and ione final question lol.

While browsing the links Chynne was awesome enough to look up, i found this link in one of them and thought it may be helpful for those of us who utilize charts and forms and stuff to stay focused and motivated...

These has all kinds of charts from feelings, to the fresh veggies, to daily moods.. etc.. to help keep track of symptoms.. which might help when adding stuff back in and trying to assess if any of your symptoms are returning during the week you added it back.

Charts and forms from the Yeast Connection book to help you evaluate your symptoms and possible treatment options.

i am still learning about this and am not quite sure if i do have this yet lol or even undertsnad it if i do.. but the spit test was majorily positive and i have a lot of the mood symptons.. major pms and i am back on the pill soooo lol so i am reading a lot and going to start the diet and some of the supplements to see if it will help. The questionnaires i take i am usually in the mid scoring range of the "its possible". lol which helps alot lol sorta like saying... well maybe lol.

Important question though.... if i am in the its possible gray area (my weightloss is fine - i am losing like i did before -- but i am looking more toward the other horrid symptoms .. Does anyone know if - i don't really have this and instead its just month long pms lol -- will it hurt to take the supplements i have if i follow the diet too? Coconut oil, Oil of Oregano, Probiotic, yeast cleanse, and garlic? Or will i be setting myself up to being prone to this type of infection?

    i know i am asking a lot of questions,Thankks..

Well, the garlic and Oil of Oregano are good for the immune system - don't see that those would be a problem at all. I can't imagine the coconut oil being a problem, nor the probiotic....... Not sure on the yeast cleanse stuff, though. If you're taking something specifically designed to *kill* the yeast, yet you're still *feeding* the yeast, I think you may be setting up some potential resistance (like you can get w/antibiotic use....). *And* you'd be wasting you money, too.

Just my 2 cents worth..... ensive

Hi Deb... what do you mean feeding the yeast? I was planning to follow the yeast cleanse bland diet that has been advised.. if i don't have it and follow the diet plan and take supps i am actually feeding it instead of killing it to see if it helps with the emotional/moody/ pmsy and fatigue i have...

i thikn i am more confused now..

You're planning to use a product called 'Yeast Cleanse', correct? With a name like that, I'm thinking that it must be intended to cleanse the yeast from your system. So, if you're 'cleansing' while still consuming products that would feed the yeast, *I think* that you could be creating 'super yeast' in your system - yeast that *may* become resistant to the same Yeast Cleanse product you were taking while feeding the yeast.......

Check over the old threads.... somewhere there are posts talking about not taking the'cleansing-type' products until after you've been following the anti-candida diet for awhile....... (or, in the brain fog of my heavy candida days, I dreamed it up..... :confused ).

If you follow the diet, take the supplements and cleansing products, but *don't* eat the stuff that feeds the yeast... you'll be fine. :yes

Okay.. thanks... i didn't think you were understanding what i was saying... i do plan to follow the diet plan... and i will be taking the supplements...

what concerned me was "what if i don't really have it" because the questionaires i take fall into the "its a possibility" (which i see as a maybe) and not a strong one at that... my spit test is majorily positive.. and i am back on the pilll...and i am moody, emotional, itchy occassionally, pms big time, and utterly fatigued... but my weightloss is fine, i don't get yeast infections that i know of and i haven't taken any antibiotics for over 4 years.. i don't have any hard core symptoms to go with...

i didn't want to do the "preventive and 'cure'" so to speak, and belatedly find out that the "supplements you take to help and the diet" will actually make you prone to it if you don't actually have candida ... if this makes sense...

As always, you are the best for taking time to help me.... thanks

No no... you'll be fine taking *any* of those things, as long as you're following the diet <yes, I *had* mis-understood you>.

I didn't really have candida *symptoms* either (other than brain fog and the weight refusing to move - my spit test was majorly positive too)... no yeast infections, etc... but eliminating certain foods and using supplements made a *huge* difference in my life!!!
