    Pumpkin or calabaza?

Are we allowed pumpkin on a candida-cleanse diet? It's an induction veggie, and it has a ton of fiber, so I don't see why not. It's just that I haven't seen it on any food lists yet, though I would consider it a "medium carb" veggie.

I just wanted to double-check before I start eating it regularly!

    Re: Pumpkin or calabaza?

it doesn't have any yeast properties to it that I know of so i cant imagine it will hinder the yeat kills.

            Thanks thumper.

I've read that article and many others that have conflicting information, that's why I want an ADBB/Candida expert to rule in on this one...

i've been eating this too. if you google pumpkin hummus recipe, you will find a delightful yummy recipe that i have been enjoying! it's also good if you sub tahini with almond butter! good luck! also, i have been doing my yeast cleanse for a month now. i read about oregano oil online, it seems to really be kick starting the kill! it tastes like ****, but it was the strongest one at the store. it was like fifty dollars and it is super concentrated, it's called oreganall. i am using it in addition to my naturapaths suggested supplements. i highly recommend it.

                Thanks soft!

I'll have to wait a while before I can re-introduce nuts/seeds into my diet, but I'll keep that recipe in mind.
