    I keep reading on other candida sites that eating plain yogurt is beneficial and a good idea for a candida-diet dessert.

    Being that it is dairy and has about 15 grams of sugar per serving, wouldn't yogurt be bad?

    You'd have to be on the correct rung of OWL (dairy) before adding yoghurt to your diet... and then do so with care. Not sure what stage you're at yet.
    Before the dairy rung, I'd just stick to eliminating yeasty foods from your diet for a few weeks and see how you go.
