every once in a while i get a pinkish rash inside my belly button, which itches and smells weird. it always goes away in a day or two though. i haven't figured out any consistant trigger that might cause it, other than a possible yeast problem. i'm going to try to spit test in the morning. anyone else heard of such a problem being related to yeast?

Re: belly button rash, candida related?
Candida aside, I would guess that your tummy button trouble is because it is too deep and had some shampoo or soap that didn't get rinsed out properly so it stayed damp, and you now have a mild infection. I would use a baby wipe, q-tip or something to gently clean it. You could also put on a dab of polysporin. My son would get a mild staph infection behind his ears if we didn't rinse the shampoo off well enough.
