Hi KaliStacey, Prozac is a prescription medication. So you really need to go to a physician to get a prescription for it. Even the "on-line" pharmacies require a prescription. And physicians won't prescribe it to you unless you've been evaluated for depression.
Well, there are places on the internet where you can buy Prozac without any prescription. The problem is that I don't feel comfortable giving you the address. I agree with Megs, that you should see a doctor and get an evaluation first.
There could be some really nasty side effects from Prozac. That is why you should be under the watchful eye of a doctor or counselor.
i use to take zoloft. now just interested in tryin prozac. its fine that you dont want to give me the places. i've already found them but just thought someone would suggest a site wit better deals. its not like i'm under 18! lol but its okay

You really should go to your physician and discuss changing medications with him/her. Granted Zoloft and Prozac are both SSRIs, but they are still different medications. It's best to be under medical supervision whenever you are changing from one medication to another, rather than doing it on your own.
It doesn't matter if you are under 18 or over 18 - these aren't candies we're talking about here. The responsible thing to do is to make an appointment with your doctor and talk to him/her about this, rather than be asking around the internet and experimenting on your own.
You need to ask yourself how serious you are about taking control of your health, and ask yourself why you feel qualified to do this on your own.
Please do the right thing and talk to a medical professional.
counseling does not always fix depression. it not like what they're telling me i dont already know. but i guess i will see the doc bout the prozac to make it easier. i guess i been on different ones and they just made things worst or no sleep actually.thanks anyways

And a bit of counselling doesn't hurt either (that is if you're not already getting it)

I didn't say counselling fixes depression, but it does help alongside taking medication.
I have been depressed for most of my life, multiple hospital entries for trying to take my own life, therapies in all different shapes and sizes, along with all the different pills. I always find another answer and there's always find out something new about myself each time and over the years I handle depression better and better to the point that I do not need meds.
Different strokes for different folks I guess

did you know there are other medical conditions like hypothyroid that will make you depressed and any doc who knows what they are doing will first check you forthose before they prescribe any antidepresant. See the doc get the blood tests and see what you need.
