  • stalling problem/HELP

    Every 10lbs my body stalls for a long time. LAST time it was for 2 months and now i am stuck on 145lbs. It makes me sad and depressed . I have another problem, I can't get into the habbit of exercise. I have promised myself many times and have tried to start an exercise program, but after couple of days i stop. I lose motivation after a while, and thats why i haven't lost inches. I was pant size 16 (185lbs) and now 12(145lbs). And i am 5'5........My body is slow at losing inches and that makes me depressed also.

    Any advice?words of wisdom? criticism?

    Do you use fitday?
    Exercise is important and an important part of the plan. I am 60 years old and never exercised in my life and now I go religiously three times a week. Its finding something that you like to do and doing it.

      fit day helps and can be a real opener.

      you asked for advice and help. i have sent pm's you trying to get you back in gear, trying to get you to be more frequent with posting. the point being, the ones that are regularly here are the ones hanging firm. they might have set backs but they stick with it and conquer whatever is going on.

      find an exercise you like to do and join a challenge. nothing works quit like joining a challenge. there are people there to encourage when you need it and asking what's up if you slack off. have you seen the exercise challenge forum lately? so much to choose from!

      maybe i'll see you back in stats and/or chats?

        ANy kind of exercise can help...I only walk my dog about 30 minutes every other day. I jump on the trampoline at least twice a week and i dont just mean jumping. I'm doing back flips like I was 15 years ago!!!!!!!! I am about to pick up on hip hop aerobics tho...The most important thing....these things r fun for me. Find something you enjoy so it doesnt seem like such a *task*
        I'm still only eating about 20 carbs a day. I was up to about 35 and my weight loss slowed down too much for my taste. NONE of my carbs contain sugar. I even cut out the fruit and this is just so i can lose the last few lbs.
        I've been on atkins for 5 months now
