Im glad to see this new here...well its new to me Ive not been here in awhile...ive been struggling with very deep depression since the death of our son July 2 2004....and have quit taking the antidepressants but am thinking of restarting them.....anyway I hope I can offer support to those here who may need it and get some in return....

Did you stop taking the meds on advice from your doc? It may pay to get a checkup done if you can, as this is a hard time of the year.

Hi Wendy,

I can't begin to imagine the grief of loosing a child. I do know that the first set of holidays will be some of the hardest things you'll go through, but time will soothe the pain, I won't say heal it, but it will soothe it.

If the medications help, then please go back on them. You're precious and special for yourself, and you deserve to be out of the deep dark pit. I promise the light up at the top isn't a train.

I know this is a tough time of yr thinking about a missing child and what they are missing out on. There is a beautiful poem about being in heaven and spending this Christmas with Jesus which was sent to me last yr by a freind. it really helped me to realize nobody was missing Christmas this yr. I posted a copy of it in the depression forum if you'd like to read it.
