A1C update

Well, after 3 months of Atkins my A1C has had a huge drop. My initial tests on June 30 showed my A1C at 11.6. This put me into action, followed Atkins almost perfectly and re took the test on 9-30-06 and my A1C came back as 7.1!!! Almost Normal! My cholesteral dropped also and is in the normal range also. Anyone that says Atkins is unhealthy should look at my tests! If it wasn't for Atkins I would be on insulin and very unhappy. Thank you everyone for your support!

I just read on the Net, the FDA approved a new diabetes medication. The manufacturers project that it will cost $3-$5 per pill. They don't say how many pills a day you would need.

Hmmm....spend $4 on a pill or spend $4 on something tasty like a bunless burger at my favorite burger place.....decisions decisions decisions
