My doctor put the Byetta up to 10 today, no side affects yet. Ive lost 3 pounds in 6 days. I had already lost my water weight. Ive been on Atkins for 6 days, I had to eat 5 pieces of hard sugar candy to get my blood sugar up one night. I haven't taken my Novolog since that night. It is very hard for me to lose weight, but if I get a pound a week, I'm in heaven. Im still taking my Lantis, but have dropped it from 70 to 50 twice a day. I 230 pounds, now 227. Gooooood For Me.

congratulations on the weight loss! Just be sure to eat enough carbs...I had a problem with that, but if you follow the ongoing weight loss rules you will be fine! Keep up the good work!

My weight has gone down from 230 to 223 since I have been doing Atkins and Byetta. My waist has gone down 3 inches. My insulin has been cut in half. I plan to take a month long bus tour in a few months and I would love to be off the insulin. It could happen.
