This is a cross post, since I'm diabetic-had originally posted in the vitanutrients section.
OK, I'm taking the target brand Centrum Silver and today I went to Walmart with a list of vitamins it looks like are important for me. I am diabetic, so I tried to use those guidelines. Here's what I bought to go with my multivitamin:
-flax,fish and borage oil provides Omega 3,6,9 400 mgs ea.
-my list said Chromium and all I could find was chromium picolinate?same thing? 500 mcg.
-Lcarnitine 500 mg
-Super B Complex
-Vit C 500 mg
-CoQ10 100 mg
I also had Biotin on my list, but was afraid to buy it because its in the SuperB, but only 3.8mcg so I think to aid with diabetes I could take another biotin seperately???? My multi also has 30 mcg. Is this correct, or is it necessary? I was looking for vanadium and can't find that at Target, Walmart or CVS drugs, so I guess I need to look at a health food store if its something I really need to add. What do you all think? Am I missing something?
