Re: Now this is what I call progress!!

I need some advice as to why my BG's would read higher in the morning, it was 169. Adter 2 bottles of water and one cup of decaf with half n half and a half packet of splenda, its now down to 155. The BG's were taken an hour apart. Any idea on what is bringing them up in the mornings? The other morning when I woke is was 204, I was pretty upset with the higher reading. Will they eventully come down as the weight comes off?

Your fasting sugars are completely dependent on how your body produces insulin and sugar. After you put food or drink in your body it now is dependent on how your body deals with what your putting in it. You have come down so far already that i wouldn't worry about that, it just means your body is dealing well with what you are putting in it. The less weight you have on your body the better it deals! So yes the more weight you lose the better your BG's. Does that help?

It's reassuring to know that they will drop when the weight comes off, yes I am happy with the results I am getting I just got a little concerned this morning. I guess I am worrying a lil bit too much. Thanks a million.
