I was just wondering if it is possible to find my CCL by way of testng my Blood Glucose. I have noticed when I eat 1/2 cup of cabbage as oppsoed to eating 3 cups of salad my Bg's are higher.

interesting, but I do not think the two coincide? Your CCL for maintenance is what keeps you at your goal weight.
Cabbage has more carbs the lettuce. But, that would also make me wonder what you put on the cabbage or the salad, as if you added a fat then it would slow the rate of your blood sugar response?
First you would have to know what your CCL is to lose, then know what it is to maintain. As we climb the rungs in OWL it is a natural progression and your fat consumption decrease as your carb consumption increases. So you would have to know how each food effects you, which we know varies due to meds and activity level?

Well nothing usually goes on the salad but tonight i added some ground beef, and the cabbage was boiled with a little butter. I was just curious if anyone had tried to find their ccl this way. I am not sure if I should try and find my ccl right now until my bg's stabilize.
