He's doing really well JEC, thanks for asking. He is being so good about his diet - he's got his sugar in really good control, so much so that he's really only checking it about every other day because the numbers are almost the same every time he checks it. He knows what to eat and he knows how to read his body by the way he's feeling and what to do about it! I'm really pretty proud of how quickly he adjusted! He doesn't even complain anymore. But me having done Atkins for so long makes it really easy on him, I know how to cook yummy foods so he doesn't even miss the carbs! That plus he has no problems with things like the sugar free ice cream and candies so he's really not missing out on anything--well, except hot fudge! or so he says, that's the only sugar free/low carb thing he's tried that he says is totally ICKY!
