I am new to Atkins and will soon be starting induction~I am diabetic and I also suffer from Clinical Depression. I am apprehensive, to say the least, but reading here helps to ease my mind some. I hope I can do this...I want to...I need too soo bad.

Hi Gia and Welcome to
ha :wave
You will have plenty of support here at
ha!!
Just a few questions.
Do you have Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) (Version 2002)? If not, please get it. In the meantime, if you haven't already, check out the Atkins Low Carb Dieting - FAQ's Forum, Atkins Induction Forum, and the Main Atkins Forum.
Two other books worth looking into are:
Dr. Atkins Diabetes Revolution and Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution (2003 Version)
The following site has excerpts from Dr. Bernstein's book:
We also have a forum entitled, Depression & Atkins Low Carb Living Forum, which you may want to check out.
Never be afraid to ask anything. Since we're not medical professionals, we can't offer medical advice, but if there is anything we can do, let us know.
Happy Holidays and Happy Low-Carbing!!
