    Blood sugar counts

    Hello there,
I am about to buy the book Bernsteins Diabetes solution but was told that the book is too Americanised for the UK market. The main thing is the blood sugar counts are measured in the USA by mmo/L but here in the UK it is measured by mg/DL. Has anyone any ideas of how I can do a conversion?
I also need to know if this plan is ok for me as I do not need to lose any weight as I am 10st (140lbs) as I dropped off most of my weight before I was diagnosed with type 2.
    Happy New Year.

You can use Bernstein or new Atkins diabetes one then if not over weight....you either multiple or divide by 18.

Say your BG is 5.4 you go 5.4x18=97.2

If in book, it says BG should be 110 you go:
      1110/18=6.1

Only USA uses old system, rest of world is on metric so often books will tell you the conversion.

      Goodonya for the weight loss.
